Mt. Kagobo is 224 meters above sea level at its peak and offers panoramic views of Sendai and Ishinomaki cities. Visitors climbing the mountain are rewarded with the 1.5-kilometer route of some 2,000 sakura, including somei yoshino, along the way. A promenade has been built as well as an observation deck and restaurant at the mountaintop. There is a golf course nearby, allowing golfers the lucky chance to golf among the sakura. Night-time illuminations are also planned.
